This series constitutes an attempt to bridge the gap between the two cultures in Russian studies. It features lectures by historians, literary scholars, anthropologists, and media theorists whose work illuminates a specific aspect of science in Russian culture from a standpoint that is theoretical, historical and epistemological from medicine to media and technology, from astronomy to biology, from physics to animal and environmental studies.
